Ever since the evergreen hero Dev Anand ( Indian film industry) shot the establishing scenes of 'Guide' at Udaipur's City Palace, sometime in the early 1960s, followed by James Bond's 'Octopussy' in the 1980s, there have been innumerable  Indian and international films, television serials, music videos and documentaries that have been inspired by the city of lakes and palaces.
